Electret Mic Amplifier Module Adjustable Gain

This fully assembled and tested electret microphone amplifier module features a soldered 20 Hz–20 kHz electret microphone. It operates on a wide supply voltage range of 2.4–5 VDC and delivers rail-to-rail output with a DC bias at VCC/2. Output amplitude is adjustable from ~200 mVpp (at ~15 cm distance) up to ~1 Vpp, and can reach 5 Vpp under loud input — ideal for direct connection to microcontroller ADC pins. The module includes excellent power supply noise suppression and a rear-mounted trimmer potentiometer for precise gain adjustment between 25× and 125×. Designed for low-noise signal chain integration: no external coupling capacitor needed when connecting to MCU ADC; use a 100 µF capacitor only if AC-coupling is required by downstream audio equipment. Not intended to drive speakers or headphones directly — requires an external audio amplifier for such applications.
