The sound produced is low so as not to interfere with the investigation. The low-volume sound resembles that of a Geiger counter, and the sound intensifies (gets louder) as each of the detector bars lights up. Model KII-B The KII-B takes the popular KII meter and adds a low-volume buzz sound when EMF is detected. The sound feature allows a user to see the illuminated LEDs and hear EMF detection at the same time. Unlike a standard KII, this allows the user and others to hear the EMF change as it occurs. This technique also helps to validate your experience because someone is usually running a recorder or DVR, which will pick up the audible EMF change.
