Ergonomic PVC Weld Smoothing Tool

A purpose-built tool for post-weld finishing of PVC and vinyl flooring, this electrode leveler uses a rigid aluminum alloy frame with oxidation-finished surfaces for lasting resilience. The handle follows ergonomic principles to support natural wrist alignment and reduce muscular fatigue during sustained operation. Each unit includes one fitted high-speed steel blade plus two identical spares — all storable in the supplied plastic stretch-tool box. At 130 mm (5.1 in) long, it offers optimal balance between reach and control, especially when accessing tight yin-yang corners formed between vertical walls and horizontal floors. Its primary function is to uniformly flatten extruded welding electrode material after heat welding, ensuring smooth, level seams that meet industry expectations for commercial-grade installations. Commonly used by certified flooring fitters preparing sites for inspection in offices, hospitals, and schools — where weld quality directly impacts safety compliance and client approval.
