Material: African Ebony, Indian Teak, Padauk & Haldu. Instrument: We recommend Groovy Tones for Acoustic Guitar, Electric Guitar & Gypsy Jazz Guitar. Tone: Indian Teak is a Mid Hardness Timber which has well balanced tones across all frequencies. African Ebony is hard and dense and as such has clean crisp bright tones. Haldu is a Mid Hardness Timber which has well balanced tones across all frequencies. Padauk is a soft Timber which has an extremely warm tones. Design: Groovy Tones are designed for those people who require a sharp Jazz Tip but also need a high level of grip. They have a dimple that positions the thumb and a scoop on the other side for the first finger, which stops the plectrum from rotating.
