Fast Manual Wool Winder Clip Mount

This manual wool winder is built around a robust clip-on mounting system, allowing secure attachment to any flat-edged surface up to 4 cm thick — such as desks, kitchen counters, armrests or workbenches. Its compact footprint (18 × 12 × 15 cm) and light weight (380 g) make it highly portable and space-efficient. The frame uses impact-resistant ABS plastic with precision-machined metal axle and gear components for long-term durability. It accepts all common hand-knitting yarns — from fine fingering to chunky bouclé — with reliable grip and even tension control. Winding is fully manual: turn the ergonomic crank to rotate the spooling arms, feeding yarn smoothly onto the central bobbin. No batteries, motors or charging needed — perfect for UK homes with limited sockets or crafters preferring mechanical reliability. The open structure lets users visually track ball formation and adjust feed angle on-the-fly. Designed specifically for UK-based knitters and crocheters managing stash organisation, gift-making, or shop-ready yarn presentation. Also widely used by local yarn groups and makers’ markets where portability and quick setup are essential.
