Fine-Mesh Alloy Net Retractable Rod

A purpose-built tool for UK outdoor science education and amateur entomology, this net features a corrosion-resistant aluminum alloy frame, 38 cm mesh ring, and 60 cm mesh depth with ultra-fine weave. The rod extends from 60 cm to 170 cm with positive-lock segments, and the compact non-slip handle ensures steady handling on uneven ground or windy days. Used widely in primary science fairs, Forest School sessions and RHS-backed gardening projects, it supports ethical insect interaction—capture, observe, record and release—with minimal disturbance to local ecosystems.
