Freely Deformable Tile Alignment Folding Ruler

This 31 x 17.5 cm six-fold ruler merges aluminum alloy and ABS plastic to achieve a balance of precision, resilience, and usability. Laser-etched markings ensure enduring clarity, while all-metal knobs provide dependable angular locking across all six segments. Its thoughtfully calibrated thickness prevents bending under hand pressure yet retains agility for fine adjustments. The freely deformable structure allows users to lock custom shapes — from zigzag guides to nested rectangles — making it invaluable for aligning cut-outs, matching pattern repeats, and verifying symmetry before final setting. Proven across ceramic tile, marble, glass, acrylic, metal, and timber applications, it serves as both a measuring instrument and an adaptive layout jig — bridging the gap between rigid tools and flexible tapes in UK tiling and fitting practices.
