This door latch is designed for wooden or metal doors swinging in and out, uses gravity lock to provide high security for animals, babies and plants by keeping predators out in your garden. This sturdy latch is constructed of heavy gauge steel with a matte black powder coating, anti rust and has a long life indoors and outdoors. Our wooden fence latch features a quick locking system that works without cables - just your finger or thumb. The locking bar can be mounted on the left or on the right. The kit comes with all parts and accessories including 6 black steel screws for easy installation. The 4.7 inch lever has a self-closing and is compatible with all types of exterior side gates, large and small, including wood, metal, wrought iron, vinyl and PVC. Use the self-locking door opener on any decorative door in your garden, on your patio, baby gate, privacy fence, or even on a chicken coop door. It can also be used with a regular padlock (not included) for added security.
