GoPro Hero5-7 Optical Filter Kit

A complete optical enhancement kit for GoPro Hero 5 Black, Hero 6 Black, and Hero 7 Black action cameras (2018 model year). Contains five purpose-built filters: UV, CPL, ND4, ND8, and ND16 — all made from precision-ground, multi-coated optical glass. Each filter fits seamlessly over the native lens port. Dimensions: individual filters ~32 mm diameter; total kit weight ~45 g; compact storage box measures 9.5 × 6.5 × 2.5 cm. The UV filter suppresses UV-induced bluish cast and extends effective shooting distance at altitude; the CPL filter targets polarised glare from non-metallic surfaces like water and foliage, boosting saturation and detail; ND filters allow manual control of exposure time — critical for achieving motion blur in daylight video (e.g., flowing water, moving lights) and avoiding overexposed highlights. Red and magenta filters are optimised for snorkelling: red compensates for red-light loss in deeper blue/green seawater (5–21 m), while magenta neutralises green dominance caused by algae in both salt and freshwater environments (5–21 m).
