Halogen Free PV Extension Cable

A 10-metre, 4mm² photovoltaic extension cable with tinned copper conductors and dual cross-linked low-smoke halogen-free polyolefin insulation/sheath. Certified for continuous operation between -40°C and +90°C, it offers exceptional resistance to UV degradation, thermal stress, moisture, and mechanical wear. Red and black colour-coded jackets provide permanent, high-contrast polarity identification. No additional conduit or protection is required for outdoor mounting. Its low dielectric constant and high insulation resistance ensure minimal leakage current and stable voltage delivery across full system load ranges. Designed for durability in unsheltered locations — from Scottish highland rooftops to southern Spanish solar farms. Used to link PV modules in series or parallel configurations to combiner boxes, DC isolators, battery banks, and inverters — forming a critical, low-risk link in residential, community, and industrial-scale solar energy systems.
