Handmade Walnut Shaman Drum 25cm

Meticulously hand-assembled using sustainably sourced walnut, this shaman drum features a precisely tensioned drumhead mounted on a 25 cm diameter frame. Total weight is approximately 650 g, offering stability without strain during extended play. The included 24 cm hardwood drumstick is sanded smooth and balanced for controlled rebound and tactile feedback. Its acoustic profile prioritises even frequency response — minimal boominess, no harsh spikes — delivering a calm, open tone ideal for sustained playing and layered soundscapes. The open-back construction allows natural air movement, contributing to organic decay and gentle volume roll-off. Suited for seated meditation, therapeutic sound work, beginner percussion instruction, and ambient musical composition — all settings where tonal integrity, portability, and intuitive responsiveness matter most.
