Heavyweight 20cm Cast Iron Press

Measuring 20 cm across and weighing 734 g, this cast iron tortilla press is engineered for stability and longevity. The uncoated cast iron body ensures thermal mass and mechanical resilience, while the smooth, greaseproof surface allows dough release without flour overload or residue buildup. Its symmetrical lever-free design relies on vertical hand pressure only — no springs, hinges or moving parts to fail. The flat, parallel plates compress dough uniformly from centre to edge, preventing thin rims or thick centres. Suitable for daily home use with wheat, corn, chickpea or multigrain doughs. Cleaning requires only a dry wipe or light damp cloth; prolonged moisture exposure must be avoided to prevent oxidation. Not intended for dishwasher use.
