Inline Reusable Strainer 12mm Nylon

This inline water strainer uses a 12mm threaded connection on both ends and consists of a rigid nylon body with an integrated stainless steel mesh insert. The mesh aperture size is optimised for general-purpose particulate removal — capturing visible sediment, rust particles, and installation debris while preserving normal flow rates. Its total length is 68mm and outer diameter is 28mm, making it suitable for retrofitting into existing 12mm-diameter piping runs without requiring bends or space-intensive mounting brackets. The unit operates passively: no power, no moving parts, no consumables. Cleaning is performed by unscrewing the two halves, removing the mesh basket, and rinsing under tap water. It is rated for continuous operation in cold water systems up to 6 bar working pressure and ambient temperatures between 2°C and 40°C. Typical deployment includes safeguarding domestic hot water recirculation pumps, filtering intake water for portable high-pressure cleaners, and protecting solenoid valves in automated irrigation controllers — all scenarios where unfiltered particulates cause incremental wear or sudden failure.
