This IP-over-coax extender bridges standard Ethernet networks to coaxial infrastructure using proven IEEE P1901-inspired technology. It supports HD video and high-speed data transmission over coax, telephone lines, or twisted pair—though the BNC-equipped model is optimized for coax. With one 10/100Base-TX RJ-45 port (featuring auto-negotiation and auto MDI/MDIX) and one BNC line port, it achieves up to 260Mbps full-duplex throughput. The rugged plastic-and-metal enclosure ensures durability in indoor telecom closets or CCTV cabinets. Six units can operate concurrently on one coax thread, and dual-colour status LEDs simplify troubleshooting. Its encryption watchdog guards against firmware hangs—ensuring stable operation in mission-critical video surveillance and EOC deployments.
