Light-Diffusing Sea Turtle Acrylic Ornament

This ornament is formed from a single sheet of pigmented acrylic — hand-cut to replicate the gentle curves of a sea turtle, with smooth, rounded edges and uniform 2 mm thickness for optimal light transmission. Its footprint fits comfortably within standard UK window frames (up to 15 cm width), and its near-weightless profile prevents sagging or chain deformation over time. Installation requires only peeling and pressing the adhesive hook onto a clean, dry surface — compatible with uPVC, aluminium and timber-framed glazing common across British housing stock. Once positioned, sunlight passing through the acrylic generates evolving colour fields on adjacent surfaces — strongest when angled between 30°–60° to the pane, but still perceptible under diffuse light. Beyond visual appeal, it serves as a tactile reminder of ocean conservation themes — making it appropriate for eco-conscious households, classrooms, or therapy spaces where symbolic, calming imagery supports wellbeing and conversation.
