Lightly Waxed Twisted Polyester Cord

0.5 mm round cord made from lightly waxed polyester, 106 metres per roll. The wax is applied post-twist to preserve filament alignment and avoid gumming — resulting in a supple, responsive cord that glides smoothly but grips when needed. Designed for repeat-use scenarios: re-threading needles, repositioning knots, adjusting tension mid-project — all without compromising integrity or generating waste. Widely adopted by UK-based educators for textile and design courses, where reliability, repeatability and student safety (no sharp splinters or chemical odours) are prioritised alongside value.
