A lightweight ABZ 3-phase incremental encoder with half-hollow shaft, designed for efficient integration into space- and power-constrained systems. Shaft options include approx. 6mm, 8mm, and 10mm diameters. Housing uses aluminum and plastic to balance durability and low mass. Operates from DC5–24V with just 30mA current draw and handles mechanical speeds up to 6000rpm. Ideal for precision motion sensing in office automation, light engineering tools, and educational robotics kits. Avoid use in corrosive, high-humidity (>85%), high-temperature (>70°C), or magnetically saturated environments. Misalignment during installation reduces lifespan — keep eccentricity and angular deviation minimal. Power-on induces brief signal settling time (0.5s); do not read pulses before this. Never exceed 29.4N cable pull force. Ground shielded cable braid and insulate unused terminals to prevent internal damage.
