Lightweight Foam Glider Kit

Measuring 47 cm in length and 45 cm in wingspan, this glider is built from soft yet resilient foam material, ensuring safety during indoor testing and durability across varied outdoor surfaces. Its robust fuselage maintains structural integrity even after multiple landings on uneven terrain. The rubber band power system is pre-aligned and easy to wind, generating smooth, controlled propeller rotation for steady gliding flight. Assembly involves only simple alignment and snapping of foam parts — fully accessible for Key Stage 2 pupils (ages 7–11) working individually or in small groups. The design prioritises intuitive cause-and-effect learning: children immediately see how tension, angle and balance influence flight distance and stability.
