It is easily recognizable by its 5 typical white triangular lateral notches, the tip of which faces the center of the insect. Although these parasites do not bite and do not transmit diseases to humans or animals, their saliva can cause serious damage to crops (with necrosis, deformations, and loss of quality) and it is therefore advisable to eliminate them and not simply release them outside.
