M12x1mm SS Socket Plug Seal

A 17 mm × 17 mm end cap with accurate M12×1 mm threading (11.5 mm thread depth), machined from certified 304 stainless steel with traceable mill test reports available upon request. Incorporates a pre-assembled fluororubber sealing ring engineered for low compression set, high elongation and resistance to hydrocarbons, glycols and common hydraulic fluids. Threads feature micro-finished flanks and controlled root radii to reduce stress concentration and improve fatigue life — especially relevant in vibrating or pulsating systems. All units undergo 100% visual and go/no-go thread inspection before packing. Deployed to eliminate three critical failure modes: fluid escape leading to environmental compliance risks; particulate ingress causing sensor drift or valve stiction; and pressure decay undermining system diagnostics or safety interlocks. Frequently applied in Tier 1 automotive supply chains, offshore equipment maintenance, and food-grade cleaning systems where material certification and repeatability are mandatory. Examples include sealing EGR cooler bypass ports during emissions testing; capping solenoid pilot ports on rail braking systems; and protecting tapped holes in stainless steel food processing conveyors during CIP (Clean-in-Place) cycles — where chloride exposure demands full 304 compatibility and non-contaminating materials.
