Precision-engineered aluminum alloy adapter ring with anodized finish for durability and corrosion resistance. Dimensions: M42 male thread (42mm × 1mm pitch) to EF-M female mount; compact profile with internal baffle to reduce flare. Weighs approximately 45g. Designed exclusively for manual-focus M42-mount lenses on Canon EF-M mirrorless camera bodies including M1, M2, M3, M5, M5 II, M6, M10, M50, M50 II and M100. Enables full mechanical coupling — lens aperture is controlled manually via lens ring; focus is fully manual with no electronic communication. Compatible with AV (Aperture Priority) and M (Manual) exposure modes only. No ROM chip or electronic contacts — therefore no autofocus, auto-exposure metering, EXIF data transfer or automatic diaphragm control. To use: Enable 'Release shutter without lens' in the camera menu before first use; also recommend enabling 'No lens' or 'Shooting without lens' option depending on firmware version. Ideal for vintage lens enthusiasts seeking tactile control and optical character from classic M42 optics.
