M5 Aluminium Flat Head Rivnuts

Each rivet nut is made from lightweight aluminium with a silver-tone finish, measuring 13mm total length, 7mm body diameter, and 10mm flange diameter with 1.2mm thickness. The M5 thread has a 0.8mm pitch and fits into a 5mm pre-drilled or punched hole. The flat head design sits flush against the surface, while the knurled body enhances grip in softer materials such as sheet metal or plastic. Weighing just 64g for the full pack of 100 pieces, these rivnuts offer consistent mechanical performance without adding unnecessary weight. The integrated flange distributes load across the mounting surface, significantly improving pull-out and torque resistance compared to standard threaded inserts. This makes them especially suitable for applications where access is limited to one side only — ideal for enclosure panels, chassis assemblies, and retrofit installations. Designed for use with standard M5 flat head cap screws, they enable secure, reusable threading in thin or soft base materials where traditional nuts and bolts are impractical. No backing plate or second-side access required.
