Metal Solar Eclipse Filter for Telescopes

This solar filter is constructed entirely from metal with no glue, formaldehyde, or adhesive components — making it environmentally friendly and durable. It features a threaded metal ring designed to screw directly onto the telescope’s objective lens housing. Compatible with all telescope types including reflectors and refractors, it is suitable for observing the Sun (e.g., solar eclipses and sunspots), Moon, planets, and star clusters. The filter is sized by outer diameter of the objective lens — for example, a 146 mm outer diameter (e.g., 127SLT) requires the 160 mm filter; a 235 mm outer diameter (e.g., 8SE) requires the 250 mm version. This listing is for the 80 mm variant. Includes one composite membrane solar filter only.
