Multifunctional Rice And Veg Strainer

This strainer basket has an outer diameter of 24 cm and internal depth of 12 cm, offering ample volume for washing rice, potatoes, apples, or mixed salad greens in one go. It weighs just 180 g but maintains structural integrity thanks to reinforced sidewalls and a fully welded mesh base. The mesh aperture is precisely 0.8 mm — tight enough to retain rice kernels and small legumes, yet open enough to allow fast, gravity-driven drainage. The scoop is formed as part of the rim profile, not a separate attachment, ensuring long-term reliability. The handle features a soft-radius contour matching natural hand curvature, with textured surface for grip even when wet. Compatible with all standard UK sink configurations and fits neatly inside common 24 cm–26 cm kitchen storage racks.
