Nanoweb Coated Phosphor Bronze Strings

Elixir Nanoweb coated phosphor bronze acoustic guitar strings (model 16052) feature extra-light gauge set: 010–047 (010, 014, 023, 030, 039, 047). Total string length is standard full-scale acoustic length. Constructed with phosphor bronze wrap wire over high-carbon steel core, with patented NANOWEB polymer coating applied to the entire string — including both wrap and plain steel windings. Plain steel strings are anti-rust plated. The coating preserves tone and playability for 3–5× longer than uncoated strings by blocking corrosion, sweat, and oils from penetrating between windings or adhering to surfaces.
