NPN Open-Collector Incremental Encoder

This photoelectric incremental rotary encoder features NPN open-collector AB phase output, compatible with both 5 V and 24 V DC supply voltages. It provides six resolution settings: 100, 200, 360, 400, 500 or 600 pulses per revolution. The unit measures 38 × 35.5 mm and has a 6 × 13 mm shaft. Its maximum mechanical speed is 5000 RPM, with a response frequency range of 0–20 kHz. A 1.5-metre cable is included, colour-coded as follows: green = A phase, white = B phase, red = Vcc (+), black = ground (V0). Designed for accurate measurement of rotational motion parameters — including speed, angle, acceleration and indirectly measured length — it is suited for intelligent displacement control systems, automatic leather guillotines, steel cut-length controllers, civil height measurement tools and educational robot platforms.
