Nylon Rake Brush Set 4-Piece

A curated 4-piece rake brush set built for deliberate linear expression. Constructed with durable nylon bristles, corrosion-resistant aluminium alloy ferrules and sustainably sourced black birch wood handles. Brush lengths fall between 18–20 cm, with overall set weight of ~85 g. Bristle count and spacing differ across the set to support varied artistic intentions — from ultra-fine linear hatching to broad textural sweeps. Rake brushes operate by laying down multiple parallel lines in one motion — ideal for suggesting motion, growth direction or material grain. When used with acrylics at medium dilution, they produce crisp, high-contrast strokes that hold edge definition during subsequent glazing or dry-brush layers. Their rigidity prevents unwanted flex, so line quality remains consistent regardless of angle or pressure. Artists use these brushes for everything from botanical illustration (veins, petal striations) to urban sketching (window grids, pavement cracks), and crafters rely on them for consistent patterning on ceramics, leather, and resin pours. Their intuitive logic and tactile feedback make them a staple for both teaching foundational texture concepts and executing complex multi-layered artworks.
