Our variety description - Images and text © Copyright OleanderhofCorrida - Oleander - Nerium oleander "Corrida" is a vigorous French cultivar that captivates with its strong, bright red flowers featuring a delicate white thread in the center. The single flowers reach a diameter of up to 6 cm and appear in abundance throughout the flowering period, giving the plant a vibrant and elegant appearance. With its strong growth, "Corrida" quickly develops into a dense, bushy plant. It is ideally suited both as a specimen plant, where it can make a striking impression, and for planting in hedges, where its vigorous growth and abundant flowering create an attractive, flowering unit. This variety is fragrance-free, making it particularly suitable for sensitive individuals or public areas. Its moderate frost hardiness allows it to be kept in mild regions with light winter protection; in colder areas, frost-free overwintering is recommended. As a protected variety, "Corrida" is subject to plant variety protection and may not be propagated without permission – a testament to its exceptional quality and targeted breeding in France. Delivery quality and conditions: Height measured without pot min. 70-120 cm, multi-stemmed, in a 15-liter pot, with variety label. Plant not grown with growth regulators (shrinkage agents).
