Our variety description - Images and text © Copyright Oleanderhof Splendens Foliis Variegatis - Oleander - Nerium oleander "Splendens Foliis Variegatis" is a striking and therefore unmistakable variety of the "Splendens type." Its most striking feature is its leaves, which are variegated yellow-green. Some leaves are entirely yellow. These, together with the large, pink, double flowers, create an extremely decorative effect. While its growth and flower size are typical of the "Splendens type," care should be taken with fertilization for this variety. While over-fertilizing is not a problem for other varieties, the yellow parts of the leaves on this variety will die and turn brown. This damage will then remain visible for a long time. "Splendens Foliis Variegatis" should be pruned frequently, as the new growth is particularly attractive due to its fresh, colorful foliage. This also helps to keep its size under control. "Splendens Foliis Variegatis" is a true collector's variety. Delivery quality and conditions: Height measured without pot min. 40-60 cm, one to two branched basal shoots, in an approx. 3-liter pot, with variety label. Plant not grown with growth regulators (shrinkage agents). EC plant passport number: ONPV-FR LR00365. Yellow leaves and bare shoots may be present.
