Overhead Thread Guide Spool Stand

Total assembled height: 16.5 cm (6.50 in), composed of a 7.5 cm vertical pin and 11.2 cm horizontal guide bar. Base measures 7.7 cm (3.03 in) in diameter. Made from durable 3D printed polymer. Package includes one base unit and one thread guide arm — tool-free assembly via press-fit connection. Engineered to replicate industrial overhead threading: lifts thread above the needle area for straight-line feed into the tension discs and take-up lever. This reduces thread twist, minimises friction-related heat buildup, and supports even tension across varied fabric thicknesses — from delicate cotton voile to thick denim or quilted layers. Designed for real-world UK sewing conditions: fits seamlessly on crowded workbenches, accommodates both metric and imperial spool cores, and maintains performance whether used daily or intermittently — no calibration or adjustment needed after initial setup.
