Artfully designed necklace pendant "Thor's Hammer" made of 925 sterling silver. The pendant is equally carefully crafted on the front and back and richly decorated with Celtic knots, a Viking compass and the Algiz protection rune. For women and men. Dimensions: approx. 37 mm high x approx. 33 mm wide inner diameter of the eyelet: approx. 7 mm Weight: approx. 9.5 g The pendant comes with a black cotton strap.  Meaning of symbols: The Thor's hammer is also known as Thorhammer, Mjölnir or Mjollnir. According to Norse mythology, Mjölnir was the magical weapon of the god of thunder Thor. Hurled at its enemies, the hammer never missed its target and always returned to its owner's hand. It is a symbol of strength and drive. The rune Algiz has the concrete meaning "moose" and the abstract meaning "protection". It also corresponds to the letter "Z". The Viking compass is also known as Vegvisir. This term comes from Icelandic and means "signpost". The Vegvisir appears as a symbol in the Icelandic Huld Manuscript, a collection of magical sigils from the 19th century. According to this, the compass ensures that a traveler never loses his way, even in stormy times. Celtic knots have neither beginning nor end and therefore serve as a symbol of infinity or eternity.
