Pilot-Guided Magnetic Cable Threader

Constructed from impact-resistant ABS plastic with a 6m nylon cord, this magnetic cable threader is built for consistent performance across UK residential and light commercial installations. It operates effectively behind wooden studs, plasterboard, panelled surfaces, and steel frames — as well as under carpets and floorboards. Two interchangeable magnet heads (large and small) accommodate varying conduit and cavity sizes, ensuring reliable guidance through irregular or obstructed pathways. The pilot-guided front profile maintains directional control when navigating insulation, joist bays, or around plumbing — enabling confident cable placement even without line-of-sight access. Its magnetic force is calibrated to maintain grip on ferrous surfaces while allowing controlled movement over common structural obstacles.
