Plain Leaf Parsley \nParsley is one of the most popular and versatile of herbs. \nAlso known as French Parsley, Plain Leaf Parsley has fine, serrated leaves and is generally regarded as having a slightly better flavour and texture than curly parsley.\n\nThe smooth aromatic leaves are used for seasoning and for dish decoration. \nPlain Leaf Parsley tastes great in parsley sauce with gammon or fish, it can also be used in stews, casseroles and soups or served as a decorative garnish on the side of plates. \nSurprisingly rich in vitamin C, it is also a good source of folic acid. \nParsley leaves can also be harvested and dried or frozen for use all year round. \nSeeds can be sown at almost any time of year but a sowing in spring and another in late summer should give you an ample supply. \nParsley does best in a sunny spot and thrives in rich, moisture-retentive soil, it will also benefit form a regular feed of nitrogen and should be kept watered in long dry spells. \nThe growing time from sowing to harvest is 80-90 days for a spring sowing and 150-180 days for a late summer/autumn sowing. \nAlthough Parsley plants are hardy and can be overwintered outside they benefit greatly from a little protection. \nDetailed growing instructions are on the back of each packet \nPacket contains: 1000 seeds approx. \nIMMEDIATE \n \nDesign and colouring of packets may occasionally vary. \nWe want you to be happy with your purchase and all our Parsley seed is checked and inspected visually before packing. .
