Pool Hose Collar Thread Adapter

Two-piece adapter set for connecting standard pool hoses to threaded pump inlets. Each unit combines a hose collar and male thread in a single plastic body. Sizes: one for 1.5-inch (38mm) hoses, one for 1.25-inch (32mm) hoses. Thread form complies with common BSP standards used in UK-manufactured and imported pool equipment. Material is non-corrosive, rigid plastic with matte surface finish to reduce glare and improve grip during installation. The collar features concentric ribs that bite gently into the hose wall without cutting, while the thread delivers axial preload to hold the assembly in place. Together, they create a stable interface that sustains vacuum integrity even during intermittent pump cycling — essential for maintaining water clarity in variable weather conditions. Targeted at UK customers maintaining seasonal above-ground pools, particularly those using 1500–4000 GPH filter systems from mainstream brands. Fits pumps where the inlet sleeve accepts a threaded male connector — verified across multiple product lines available on Amazon UK and garden centre retailers.
