Quick Dry Diatomite Sponge Caddy

Dimensions: approximately 8.5 x 8.5 x 6.5 cm. Weight: lightweight, consistent with solid diatomite stone density. Material: pure, unblended diatomite — a fossilised aquatic micro-algae sedimentary rock processed into a fine-grained, highly absorbent stone form. Colour: natural light grey (minor tonal variation occurs across batches due to raw material sourcing; no dye or coating applied). Includes: 1 x Diatomite Sponge Holder only. This caddy functions as both a structural support and active moisture management tool. Its dense yet microporous composition draws water vertically and laterally from sponge bases, while its flat, stable footprint and low centre of gravity prevent tipping during use. Air flows freely beneath and around the unit, eliminating trapped humidity. Designed for everyday UK kitchen rhythms — whether hand-washing dishes after dinner or quick wipe-downs between meals — it ensures sponges remain accessible, dry enough to reuse within minutes, and visibly clean without requiring towel-drying or sun exposure.
