Raspberry Tulameen. \nA recent introduction, Tulameen is widely grown commercially but it also does exceptionally well in the domestic fruit garden. \nBred in British Columbia from a Glen Prosen cross and widely regarded as one of the best of the late cropping summer raspberries. \n It is now firmly established as the supermarkets' favourite variety. \nNoted for outstanding fruit quality and yield, Tulameen produces heavy crops of large, bright, conical, glossy berries with an exceptional flavour. \nRaspberry Tulameen has an exceptionally long picking season, starting mid-July and continuing on into mid or even late-August. \nThe highest yields are normally achieved at the beginning of August. \nTulameen is easy to pick with the fruit holding well on the cane even in poor weather. \nBerries are large, around 5-7 grams each and they keep their shape well after harvesting. \nFruit size is maintained throughout the picking season and it also has excellent keeping qualities. \nCanes are tall, sometimes up to 6ft with few spines and are easy to manage. \nSelf-fertile, Tulameen is a floricane variety, producing fruit on second year wood. \nIt is important to note that this variety has good winter hardiness and can be very late to emerge in spring. \nRaspberry canes should be planted with about 60cms between plants and 2.5 metres between rows. \nRoyal Horticultural Society Award of Garden Merit (AGM). \n All pictures used are of mature plants and may not necessarily reflect plants at all times of the year. \nSUPPLIED AS FRESHLY LIFTED, FULLY CERTIFIED BARE-ROOT CANES FROM ONE OF THE UK'S LEADING RASPBERRY GROWERS \nWe have many other SOFT FRUIT PLANTS in stock. \n Raspberry Tulameen canes in time for the new planting season. \nPack 5 Bare-root Canes \nORDER IMMEDIATELY \n BEGINS LATE NOVEMBER/EARLY DECEMBER. \n.
