Reliable Flute Headjoint Cork Set

This set includes six identically sized flute headjoint cork plugs, each measuring 3.14 x 1.82 x 1.82 cm (1.23 x 0.72 x 0.72 in), crafted from sustainably harvested natural cork. The material’s closed-cell density provides balanced firmness and flexibility — resisting collapse under crown screw pressure while retaining enough give to conform gently to minor bore irregularities. Weight per unit is ~1.2 g, contributing to negligible mass impact on overall headjoint balance. The khaki-coloured corks are untreated and uncoated, preserving acoustic neutrality and avoiding chemical off-gassing that could affect woodwind hygiene standards. Ideal for daily maintenance, emergency replacements, or stock replenishment in teaching studios, these corks require no curing time or conditioning before use — ready immediately after unpacking.
