Replacement Strip for Track Saw Guide Rail Accessory, Compatible with Splinter Guard System, 5000 Series

Compatibility: Replacement strip compatible with Festool 495209 and 495207 splinter guards. Fits Festool FS/2, FS/2 KP, FSK guide rails, and Festool rail saws. Regular replacement helps maintain splinter-free cuts, especially when switching saws or using the guide rail with multiple tools. Function: Replace the splinter guard as needed to ensure accurate alignment of the guide rail with the cutting line and to prevent material tearing during parallel and cross cuts. The new splinter guard aligns precisely with the saw blade, improves cutting accuracy, and reduces setup time. Clear design enhances visibility of the cutting line. High Quality: Made from durable soft rubber with strong adhesive backing. Offers high clarity and strong adhesion to securely bond to the guide rail without peeling off easily. Easy to Install: Pre-cut design reflects the exact cutting edge for precise placement along the scribe mark. Simply remove the backing tape to install. Note: Clean the guide rail thoroughly with acetone and ensure the surface is free of grease and residue before applying the new splinter guard. Installation Tips: - Work on a clean surface to avoid dust or debris on the adhesive. - Remove the protective liner just before application to prevent contamination. - Use a scraper and acetone to remove any leftover adhesive residue before installing the new strip. - When reapplying, position the splinter guard slightly outward to allow for clean, accurate cuts. Color: As shown in photo Material: Plastic Package Contents: 1 x Splinter Guard Replacement Strip Note: Light reflection and different display settings may cause slight color variations.
