Reusable 40μm Stainless Filter

A compact, high-integrity mechanical sediment filter with 1/2 inch BSPP male threading, built for durability and consistent performance in UK homes. Dimensions: 15 cm height × 5 cm diameter; weight: 280 g. Constructed fully from non-magnetic, food-grade 304 stainless steel — resistant to oxidation, scaling, and chemical leaching even under prolonged cold water exposure. The filtration medium is a fixed, non-woven 40 μm (300 mesh) stainless mesh, precisely calibrated to trap solid contaminants including iron oxide, limestone particles, sand grains, and pipe debris without restricting flow rate under normal domestic pressure (up to 6 bar). Designed exclusively as a pre-filter — installed upstream of washing machines, immersion heaters, instantaneous water heaters, and pressure washers — it functions passively with zero moving parts or electronic components. Cleaning is performed by hand: loosen the base cap, remove accumulated sediment, rinse the screen thoroughly, and reseal — taking under 90 seconds per maintenance cycle.
