Reusable Evaporative Dog Vest

A fully reusable evaporative cooling vest for dogs, built with a central PVA moisture-retention layer sandwiched between two layers of ventilated polyester mesh. Dimensions: 40 x 25 x 2 cm; weight: ~180 g. The PVA material is inherently non-toxic, hypoallergenic and certified safe for direct skin contact — crucial for dogs with sensitive coats or prone to chafing. Fastening system uses heavy-duty nylon hook-and-loop patches with extended grip surface area to maintain position during dynamic movement. Machine washable at low temperature and air-dry only; no shrinkage or colour bleed observed in testing. Designed for repeated deployment across diverse UK outdoor contexts — from urban pavement walks under midday sun to endurance-based gundog training in open farmland — where ambient temperatures exceed 18°C and humidity impedes natural cooling.
