Ridged Cast Iron Cooking Press

Made from premium-grade cast iron with a textured ridged base and a smooth beech wood cylindrical handle fixed between two black metal support arms. The press is built for functional reliability: the dense cast iron mass provides inertia and thermal mass, while the wooden handle remains cool to the touch and easy to grip. No assembly required — ready to use straight from packaging. Its ridged surface not only adds visual appeal to cooked items but also increases surface area contact, aiding in faster, more efficient heat transfer. The geometry of the supports ensures the press sits level and steady on flat cooktops, grills or griddles — critical for achieving uniform thickness and consistent doneness. Use it to flatten ground meat patties for even cooking, press chicken cutlets to ensure uniform thickness, hold down delicate fish fillets to prevent curling, or stabilise grilled sandwiches for crisp, golden exteriors — all while maintaining full control and minimal effort.
