Rotatable-Bottom Sink Strainer

Size: 26.5 cm (length) × 20 cm (width) × 8 cm (height). Made entirely from food-grade ABS — BPA-free, dishwasher-safe top rack compatible, and resistant to thermal shock from hot pasta water or cold rinses. This strainer integrates three essential kitchen workflows: washing (e.g., strawberries, cherry tomatoes), draining (boiled potatoes, cooked pasta), and waste containment (onion skins, carrot shreds). Its triangular form anchors firmly in sink corners, while the rotating lid mechanism — tested for 5,000+ cycles — ensures consistent operation without jamming or wear. Mounting relies solely on gravity and friction against the faucet pipe, eliminating reliance on unreliable suction cups that fail in hard-water areas common across the UK. Especially suited for urban dwellers, first-time renters, and eco-conscious users seeking to minimise food waste entering drains — aligning with UK water authority guidance on preventing fatbergs and pipe blockages.
