Delivers up to +20 dBm (100 mW) RF output power with 10 programmable levels and −114 dBm receiver sensitivity, enabling up to 500 m open-area range. Interfaces via RS485 (5V, GND, A+, B−), supports serial baud rates 1200–19200 bps (default 9600), and dynamically matches airborne data rate (10–100 kbps) to UART speed. Built-in MCU allows device ID assignment for one-to-one or one-to-many transparent transmission. Features strict 3-minute AT configuration window post-boot (‘AT&ENABLE=1’ only accepted then), ensuring secure, tamper-resistant operation once commissioned. Rated for −25°C to +75°C ambient operation and powered by 4.5–5.5 V DC. Widely applied in IP PTZ camera telemetry, Modbus temperature sensing, LED controller networks, RS485 relay modules (R4D3C32/N4D8B08), smart metering, access control, and UK-focused home automation (e.g., Wiser).
