Rubber-Band Powered Bird Plane Model

This aeroplane model is powered solely by a rubber band — no batteries required. It measures approximately 20 cm in wingspan and weighs under 30 g, constructed from lightweight yet robust foam and rubber components. The bird-inspired design features a distinctive silhouette with a wing-mounted rubber ring that enhances flight stability and visual appeal. Core functionality relies on manual winding and release of the rubber band to generate forward thrust and short-duration gliding flight. Ideal for hands-on demonstration of basic propulsion, kinetic energy transfer, and aerodynamic principles. Perfect for home learning, classroom STEM activities, travel-friendly play, or integration into airport-themed toy sets and carnival craft displays.
