Rusted Tuning Slide Puller Brass Tool

This brass instrument repair tool measures approximately 15 cm in length and weighs 85 g, constructed from durable stainless steel for corrosion resistance and long-term reliability. It features a precision-engineered hook design with a tapered tip and ergonomic curved handle, enabling secure engagement with tuning slide rods without scratching or deforming brass surfaces. The tool delivers controlled leverage to safely extract stuck or rusted tuning slides on trumpets and French horns — especially effective where moisture buildup and oxidation cause seizing. Ideal for routine maintenance, post-storage reconditioning, or emergency field repairs, it supports consistent intonation and smooth slide action essential for professional performance and student practice alike.
