Rustproof Egg Chair Spring & Bearing Kit

A purpose-built suspension upgrade containing one steel swing spring, one U-pin plug, and one precision steel bearing — all protected by a durable baked enamel surface coating. The spring provides progressive compression to cushion motion, while the bearing ensures stable, low-friction rotation under load. Together they improve longevity, comfort, and quiet operation. Compatible with most hanging egg chairs, basket swings, porch units, and hammock chairs sold in the UK and EU. Load-tested to exceed 500 lb — meeting BS EN 1728:2020 seating safety benchmarks for domestic multi-user applications. Installation is intuitive: visual guide included shows exact clevis pin orientation; simply thread through support and hook into spring — no drilling, no measuring, no guesswork.
