Sawyer MINI 0.1 Micron Filter

The Sawyer MINI is a handheld water filter weighing just 57 grams and small enough to rest comfortably in the palm. Its core is a 0.1 micron absolute hollow-fibre membrane, providing physical barrier filtration without chemical additives or moving parts. All units are individually tested three times to verify pore integrity and flow performance per Sawyer’s published standards. Included components: a 473 ml (16 oz) leak-proof reusable squeeze bag, an 18 cm (7.1-inch) flexible drinking straw, and a dedicated cleaning plunger. Certified removal rates include 99.99999% of bacteria (including pathogenic strains like E. coli, salmonella, and cholera), 99.9999% of protozoa (giardia, cryptosporidium), and 100% of microplastics. Rated for up to 378,000 liters — equivalent to filtering over 1,000 full bathtubs of water — it delivers exceptional longevity for both occasional users and professional field teams. Its modular design allows direct straw use from rivers or lakes, gravity-fed operation via the squeeze bag, secure attachment to disposable PET bottles, or connection to hydration reservoirs with standard 28 mm threading — supporting diverse use cases from Dartmoor day hikes and Alps treks to disaster response planning and school outdoor education programs.
