At just 45 g and with minimal physical footprint, it integrates easily into existing UK telecom enclosures, ODFs, and street cabinets without redesign or space compromise. Its inherent wavelength independence ensures compatibility with current and next-generation PON standards (GPON, XGS-PON, NG-PON2). The uniform power split enables predictable optical budget calculations — essential for passing BT Openreach’s CP3/CP4 acceptance testing. While this variant serves two endpoints, the underlying PLC architecture supports up to 32-way splitting, making it a foundational building block for scalable, low-risk fibre access network planning.
