Shock-Mounted Adjustable Drum Mic Clamp Set

This set includes two fully functional drum microphone clamps made from a hybrid of metal and plastic materials for strength-to-weight optimisation. Individual item size follows standard industry proportions as illustrated; each weighs 144g (5.08 oz). The mounting system uses a spring-assisted jaw that grips drum rims up to 12mm thick, with rubberised contact surfaces to protect lacquer and wrap finishes. A dedicated isolation chamber houses the microphone holder, separating it from direct metal-to-metal transmission paths. Vertical shaft length and pivot axis are independently lockable via thumb screws—allowing repeatable positioning for consistent tracking. Two M4 mounting screws per unit ensure firm anchoring across diverse rim profiles including wood, steel, and die-cast hoops. Compatible with handheld microphones ranging from 18–25mm diameter, covering most popular drum-specific models used by UK-based home recordists and semi-pro performers.
