Silver-Plated Hex Core Extra Light Strings

The Orphee TX620-S set features strings built around a high-carbon steel hexagonal core, wrapped with silver-plated alloy containing 8% nickel. Exact gauges: E-1st (0.25 mm / 0.010 in), B-2nd (0.36 mm / 0.014 in), G-3rd (0.58 mm / 0.023 in), D-4th (0.76 mm / 0.030 in), A-5th (0.99 mm / 0.039 in), E-6th (1.20 mm / 0.047 in). Packaged as six individually coiled strings in a sealed plastic pouch. Surface texture is smooth and reflective, contributing to comfortable handling and rich resonance. These strings combine low-tension responsiveness with structural resilience: the hex core resists deformation under repeated bending, while the silver-nickel wrap offers tonal clarity and tactile smoothness. Ideal for players who value immediate feedback, easy fretting, and clean articulation across open chords and single-note lines. Recommended for steel-string acoustic guitars with standard scale length (644–650 mm) and medium or low action setups — performs consistently whether used for solo practice, group lessons, or unplugged jam sessions.
